At Blackwood Trenching and Boring we specialise in all things Horizontal Directional Drilling with a focus on civil construction works. Owner operator Glen Blackwood has over 15 years experience in servicing the Gippsland region with underground boring and pipe laying for water, gas, power, sewer, telecommunications and general excavation works. We are qualified and equipped to weld up to 315mm diameter poly pipe and have extensive experience in Gas and Water Main construction and replacement throughout Gippsland.

Directional Drilling is a trenchless method of installing underground pipe, conduit and cable and is used when trenching or excavation is not practical. The drilling rig sits on the surface and drill rods are bored under paths, roads and vegetation therefore having minimal impact on the surrounding area.
